I’m a proud 16-year resident of Washington DC raising two sons in the Stronghold neighborhood. My wife, first son, and I moved to this neighborhood in 2021 and we welcomed our second son in 2023. They attend a local public school where I currently also serve as the family association president for the current school year.
I was born in Wisconsin and spent most of my life growing up in various places in the Midwest, but moved here in 2010 after finishing my Peace Corps service and have called DC home ever since. My Peace Corps experience strengthened and deepened my commitment to public service and I hope to continue that service as your ANC.
My interests include cooking, biking, reading when I can, and maintaining relationships with old and new friends. My main focus in life right now is serving as positive role model for my sons by demonstrating positive masculinity and that service, compassion, and empathy are traits worth cultivating.
I’ll bring that same energy to serving as your ANC by being your representative and advocate to ensure you, your family, and our community have what we need to thrive.
